Die Screaming! EP is the new caustic Perverts release, if the previous album was 'In Heaven' with melodies and harmony then 'Die Screaming!' s waiting to grab you kicking and shouting back to hell. Nasty punk noise, screams and the usual Perverts weird sense are what you can expect on this release.
The physical release is limited to 10 hand drawn sleeves, message us if you'd like one on:

Review by Сталки on Universal Horse (ex Choke zine):
Perverts are weird. They’re very funny and very weird. Usually at a Perverts gig you’ll see people laughing, bemused stares or just plain confusion. There’s always laughter at Perverts gigs, and rightly so. But the humour is as black as it gets. I saw them the other night and wondered how many members of the audience knew they were laughing at what seemed to be the anthem for Stalin’s Soviet Russia.. Or how many of them purchased a tote bag adorned with Jimmy Saville chasing a child. And that’s what I love about them; They’re quirky, fun and completely, utterly, brilliantly deranged. They’re like The Mighty Boosh meets Rainbow and Brass Eye, with a Peaches meets Big Black soundtrack.
Which leads me onto their new EP “Die Screaming!” It’s not a long EP; it’s not unusual for a Perverts track to be done and dusted in under a minute. This allows them to jump from idea to idea without stagnation. There are five tracks here with a total time that doesn’t quite reach ten minutes. It opens with some disjointed electro beats and heavily effected vocals on Great Adventure, the guitar and bass entwine together to give an almost post punk feel. Track two takes us into riot grrrl territory, minus the grrrls. The next two tracks veer off into more experimental realms, which sound like what Captain Beefheart might’ve sounded like if he had a drum machine and a few distortion pedals. Sob Story ends things in fine post punk style, with a guitar that sounds like it was played blind folded, reminding me of a bizarre Wire. It’s all over so quickly that you’ll be hitting the repeat button every eight minutes or so to keep it going; but luckily this is their third release in about a year, so we shouldn’t have to wait long to hear what they evolve into next.
